Abstract

Loundry industries have abad effect because most of them dump wastes into gutter or river without prior treatment. This study aims to test the potential of Canna Indica L. water plantsin reducing the pollutant content of loundry water (phosphate and BOD). The main research was done by the differene biomass of planting media which was used that is difference of gravel and sand media on SSF-wetland with title fraction and san media on SF-wetland for 10 days.Waste water used is effluent from Mira Loundry in Kanutan vilage, Sumbermulyo Bantul regency, witht the initial concentration of BOD as big as 231,359 mg/l and PO43-as 1,899 mg/l. The research has show that pollutants concentration in the water waste on the SSF-wetland is increase in the hydraulic retention time. For 10 days research the concentrate of BOD and PO43- decrease in SSF-wetland with canna Indica L. plants using of title fraction media, each become 96,680 mg/l (decrease 7,5%) and 1,715 mg/l (decrease 10%). Will using gravel media each become 67,80 mg/l (decrease 71%) and 1,75 mg/l (decrease 7%). From the data both planting media, gravel and title fraction, are considered to have good capability in phosphate waste removal in this system. For the most optimum BOD waste removal is using gravel media with decrease of BOD concentration become 67,880 mg/l.

Abstract

Cooking oil is one of basic food consumed by the whole society. One industry that many use a lot of cooking oil is krecek rambak industries at the Segoroyoso, Pleret, Bantul, Yogyakarta. One waste has not managed well in the rambak krecek industries is jelantah oil. The purpose of this research is to get cooking oil regenerate. The cooking oil regeneration done obtained from purification of jelantah oil using adsorbent (carbon active).One of the materials can be used as a carbon active is cassava skin. The skin cassava obtained from the waste of the merchant food. Making carbon active waste skin cassava done with chemicals process because the process simpler than with physics process. In this research, the longer time of submersion jelantah oil with adsorbent then the lesser levels of free fatty acids and peroxides in jelantah oil. The levels of free fatty acids and peroxide value optimally on the day to 6 submersion of 6,3835% and 15,6179Ml.eq/kg.

Abstract

Isolation transformer is a critical part of the power transformer, insulation deterioration or failure can cause failure of the operation or even damage the transformer. One method to determine the condition of the insulation is by testing with test equipment tangent delta 4000. In a study conducted, will be testing three-winding transformer isolation using test equipment delta 4000, function test equipment delta 4000 to measure the deterioration of the insulation used as insulating oil, paper and ceramics by measuring the power factor. After testing the insulation transformer three windings using test equipment delta 4000, the test result data was analyzed by comparing the value of the power factor of the standard manufacturer with test results using test equipment delta 4000, when comparing the results are the increase in the value of the power factor in data from tests conducted but the increase in the value of the power factor being tested is still on alert limits because some relationships insulation in the test value exceeds> 0.5 of the standard manufacturer is 0.2. However, these data need to be considered further because the value of the power factor should not be more than one.

Abstract

This research concerning about Facies and Sediment Environment of Carbonate Rock in Wonosari Formation. Research located at Goa Jepang site, in Parangtritis coastal areas, Seloharjo Village, Pundong Sub District, Gunungkidul District, Yogyakarta Special Region. Geographic position S 7o59’54’’-8o00’14’’ and E 110o19’43”-110o19’58”. Method of research is including rock outcrop profile and petrography thin section for three observer location in Goa 1, Goa 2, and Goa 3, from 18 location of Goa. There are 18 sites of Goa Jepang and it has three facies of stone unit, wackestone, packstone and framestone. Carbonate stone evolution for faciesof wackestone and packstone be in stabilization zone and it is placing Goa Jepang on the back reef-reef flat of depositional environment zone. However, for Goa Jepand 2nd location with framestone facies has different carbonate evolution to the diversification phase to come reef crest-reef front of depositional environment zone.

Abstract

Information technology significantly affects and determines the management of the company. A framework is needed to ensure that information technology enables companies to maximize profits, Information technology risk management and information technology resources are used efficiently. Evaluation of information technology is needed to better ensure the achievement of business goals. PT. Telkom Witel Yogyakarta a company engaged in the field of telecommunications has been using information technology to support the smooth operation of the company. Assessment of maturity level using COBIT 4-1 framework on information technology governance Telkom Witel Yogyakarta needs to be evaluated, so recommendations for improvement and improvement of information technology governance can be delivered. Research with survey method using questionnaire based on COBIT framework 4.1. Questionnaire of six answer choices from 25 respondents for Deliver and Support (DS) domain and four domains Monitor and Evaluate (ME). SPSS 16 for Windows software is used to process maturity level data. 12 domains are below the expected value: DS.1 (0.79), DS. 4 (0.76), DS.6 (0.19), DS.7 (0.83), DS.9 (0.80), DS.10 (0.13), DS.11 (0.59), DS. 13 (1.11), ME.1 (0.09), ME.2 (0.09), ME.3 (0.76) and ME.4 (1.17). Five domains that have values above expected maturity values: DS.2: 3.00, DS.3: 3.96, DS.5: 3.50, DS.8: 3.96 and DS.12: 3.05. Maturity level of information technology governance in Witel Yogyakarta DS domain and ME domain of 10 information systems with average maturity: 3.17 (defined process). The expected maturity value varies for each domian with a range between the 3.00 level and the 4.00 level. The highest maturity value of the DS domain is DS.3 and DS.8 value: 3.98, the lowest value DS.6: value 2.81. The highest maturity value of the ME domain is ME.3 with a value of 3.24, the lowest value of ME.4 with a value of 2.83.

Abstract

Taking the test card is part of the academic system Institut Science & Technology AKPRIND Yogyakarta and is an activity that is always done when the student before the exam. Examination card retrieval system that runs for this still use conventional system. This method is still less effective because students have to queue for a long time and also have to come to the campus directly. The proposed system research aims to facilitate students in the process of taking exam cards. System that will be developed web-based (web based), so that this system can be accessed online using both computer and smartphone devices. Research on the online card retrieval system was developed using Codeigniter (CI), one of the framework used to build a website. The development of web-based applications, CI framework has a very fast performance, easy configuration and complete documentation. This research uses waterfall diagram as research method and MySQL as database processing. Testing system conducted in this study by using black box testing method and testing the questionnaire. Black box testing aims to obtain a set of input conditions that will fully implement all the functional requirements of a program. This test concluded that the built application system can function as expected. While testing the questionnaire is done to know user acceptance or user satisfaction to the quality of the system developed. The results of the questionnaire test showed 80.24% of 82 respondents stated strongly agree that with the Online Card Exam Taking System Using Framework Codeigniter can help and provide convenience for students in the process of taking the test card.

Abstract

The substation has a great possibility of experiencing a hazard caused by the disturbance of lightning and overcurrent so that the current disturbance flows to the ground as a result of the insulation of equipment that is not functioning properly. One of the security systems on the substation is grounding. The grounding system is a delivery system that connects the system, equipment and installation bodies with the earth / ground so as to secure the human from electric shock, and secure the installation components from the dangers of abnormal voltage / currents. Therefore, research is conducted with respect to the grid earthing system on the Switchfield Substation (GI) switchyard. The research applies some data retrieval methods, namely: Literature study method, covering the studying literature related to earth system in switchyard area of ​​150 kV Bantul, and litrature related to earth type resistance calculation, soil type resistance, type of system earth, and type of electrode used. Based on the result of the analysis of the value of ground grid of Substation in Bantul is 0,527 Ohm. Or the difference in value of 0.043 Ohm or 7.54% smaller than the measurement value of 0.57 Ohm. Touch tension value of 207.5 Volts for people weighing 70kg, and 153.3V for weight 50Kg. with the actual maximum touch voltage value of 261.53 Volts. The step voltage value of 288.7 Volts for people weighing 70kg, and 213.3V for weight 50Kg. with an actual maximum step voltage value of 857.4 Volts.

Abstract

Architecture enterprise in the current have an important role and Very broad one of them is in the colleges. Colleges consider the importance of Architecture enterprise for align information technology with business processes in academic information systems. The use of architecture enterprise is needed to be used as guidelines and reference a model that can be used a long period of time consistent with the needs and can be used optimally. Research take a portrait the use of architecture enterprise from three colleges is X University, Y University, and Y University. The data taken from interviews and surveys are processed into instruments. Instrument making still refers to previous research which resulted in 20 instruments, so that making it easier to measure four business architecture enterprise processes using TOGAF. Validation results using the process of explanatory statistics and speakers, so that the portrait utilization of architecture enterprise in college has an average of 2.60. Portrait utilization of architecture enterprise can be formulated into 3 research object that is application of architecture enterprise, influence of architecture enterprise, and business process of architecture enterprise which is documented to 3 universities, it can be concluded that enterprise architecture is almost always used for academic information system can be integrated well. But the academic information system that runs not all centralized into one, so that the documentation process isn’t well managed and when the University having trouble there aren't guidelines that can be used as a reference when doing every action. Academic information system made currently is still used in the short period because the existing applications and infrastructure only in accordance with the needs.

Abstract

This study aims to know the difference through statistical analysis from two methods in determining content of ascorbic acid in tablet (brand CIPI). This experiment is done in twenty repetition. Each of two methods did twelve times. The mass of tablet CIPI is 2,0 gram. Shapiro-Wilk Normality Test shows that the value of spectrophotometry uv-vis is 0.9714 and the value of eudiometry is 0.08261. Both of them is bigger than 0,05. Based on statistical analysis, the both of methods have normal distribution. Then, Paired T-Test is applied. The result shows that hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. This means that two method have no real difference.

Abstract

This research is intended to know the effect of discontinuity on the mass of volcanic rock for rock slope stability. The study sites are located at Jelapan area and its surrounding, Pundong District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. With stability assessments of rock slopes, it can be used to identify potential disasters of rock mass movement, direction of movement and recommendations for disaster risk minimization. Analysis of the continuity on the mass of volcanic rock using rock mass classification of rock mass rating system (RMR) (Bieniawski, 1989). The data used are physical properties, index properties, mechanical properties, orientation of joint position and rock slope. The synthesis of data is done mainly on morphological data, stratigraphy, geological structure to know the control of geological condition on the stability of volcanic rock slope in research area. Based on the calculation of the rock mass classification of RMR, the cliff at 7°59’20,88” LS 110°19’19,09” BT is 28 which is considered poor. The RMR value is controlled by intensive joints that dominate with joint spacing less than 60 mm; the condition of the surface of the joint field is smooth and continuous, estrangement joint 1 - 5 mm, slightly weathered with a value RQD 43.37%. Rock mass that collapses and landslides are lava and andesite breccia. The rock fall occurs following the slope of the planar plane of the platy joint structure and the rock contact N170°E/32°. It is interpreted by the initial stress control with high anisotropic stress at the edge of the slope.
